and it was good....

I decided to give the sewing machine another try this last weekend. So I went to the fabric store, and spent over an hour trying to decide on the perfect fabric. I felt I needed a little pick me up, so I went to the grocery store for some treats and walked out with this jar filled with the suckle of the gods. Off I went to my friends house to use her sewing machine...three hours later this is what I had.....

So much fun! I think I will dub Saturdays for the month of April DIY day! Now what will I do this Saturday....hmmmm???
